The model VMAX-302-12 has been designed for slope roof application and is compatible with most all types of roofing membrane including metal. It has no moving parts, requires no electricity and is completely silent and maintenance free. Built tough to endure the harshest weather conditions that nature has to offer including hail storms. It sits high enough off the roof deck to allow it to weather through snow accumulations without being covered, thus, finally giving the home owner a peace of mind.

The PROTurbo combines the field tested benefits of the patented WeatherPRO internal baffle system with multi-stage, high volume, airflow for superior attic ventilation.

Permanently lubricated track system, upper and lower stainless steel ball bearings prevents metal-to-metal contact, encased to help prevent dirt, dust, sand and other foreign materials from damaging bearings for long life, less friction, smoother spin and wear resistance. Heavy-duty steel spider braces and case-hardened steel shaft for long-lasting strength/durability. Simple, mechanically-locked, two-piece head/base for faster, easier installation. Pre-punched bottom/crimped collar of one-piece base fits tighter, makes installation easier and allows for adjustability up to 12/12 pitch without removing turbine. Extra-large flashing and head with included bottom ring for easier installation and better weather protection. Double ribbed vanes, with convex top, direct even wind-driven rain away from the unit. Dade County/Texas Department of Insurance approved.

Unlike the turbine, the maximum ventilators are CSA approved and do not require to rotate to prevent water or snow infiltrations. Its unique storm proof system prevents infiltrations while at the same time capturing the wind flow from all directions and at wind velocities as low as 6 km/hr. With this combination of technology, wind and pressure differentials, a "chimney or, vacuum effect" results in drawing the stale air and moisture out, thus preventing moisture and heat build-up within the attic space. All in one, no need of a wood curb, this model has been designed to allow you to install the roofing membrane onto the base flashing the same way you would a wood curb. We have made an allowance for the membrane so that the neck of the ventilator will go over both the flashing and the membrane.

An attic with balanced ventilation has undereave or soffit vents, which allow fresh air into the attic. The fresh air flows up between rafters to the ridge, where a ridge vent, roof vents or gable vents allow the air to exit. If insulation is allowed to bunch against the inside slope of the roof between the rafters, air will be blocked before it can traverse the attic. Raft-R-Mate? attic rafter vents create a space between each rafter for air to flow freely up the rafters and into the attic.
