Varathane? brushes are either polyester for water based finishes or natural boar hair for oil based finishes. Protect your investment, clean brushes after use for years of enjoyment. Varathane?'s new universal applicator and refill may be used with both water based and oil based finishes. They are safe to use with all finishes and can be reused if rinsed out between coats. Applicator pads are recommended for use with polyurethane finishes as they assist with the even spread of the coating, resulting in a lower amount of air bubbles and more control during use.
